Summer Screams-Pastels, Spring 2013 Trend to Watch for

Pretty excited to announce that its my Blog Anniversary ! Yes..Thefashionflite turns one ! And I seemed to notice about a week late,but never mind..at least I did ! Thank you immensely for all the encouragement and love you all keep showering in your mails,and making this whole blogging experience a fun activity for me.  Initially I was worried- what if I exhaust over all the new ideas,but that's the way blogs are !! At least I  could just write about what I feel,my weakness ,my strengths,fashion and what not,thinking there might be someone out there who resonates with the same ideas.. liberating isn't it ?
Never knew that I could go this far ,but since I have,what better way to acknowledge the landmark than with a new giveaway.. Watch out this space for an exciting one coming for Ya'll !  I think I should indulge in an offline party and share the pics on my Instagram and Facebook Or club it with my birthday party which happens soon too ! OOTD- Hearts Stars and Studs

Since childhood I haven't been taught to free the ideas from my brain ! Frustration, Anger, Confusion, helplessness all gulped down that throat and my heart became the most heaviest part of my body ! 
But things really changed during my late twenties and more when I became a Mother ! I started living my life the way I want and tried to do whatever made me happy.Blogging is just one part of it ! It really helped me self discover myself and also replaced self talking time ? Eh?(revealed) And I am thankful to no other person than myself for doing that ! ! I have suddenly spurred in action, I go and do new different things,to get authentic stuff for my readers, Even if I look silly or clumsy in any of my outfits, I know I am still gonna be appreciated ! Total win-win ! To sum up,Starting a blog opened up whole worlds that I never knew even existed ! No one wants to be "sold" something every time they read a blog ! Selling true motivation and encouragement still goes a long way ! Sorry for the long Rant ! I really wanna trawl back on this post when it becomes history and set new reminders !**

Mood swings is a common phenomena Delhi people are witnessing right now,(at least people around me ) and definitely I am one from the lot ! My mood and the weather graph has been going hand in hand n it lifts considerably when the weather is good and drops badly when the weather is gloomy ! And strangely though I just read an article which explains a research that countries which are blessed (if that’s the right word) with bad weather on a regular basis should be more intelligent than those where the sun shines all-year-round as people recall three times much more information on days when their are grey skies than the days when the sun is shining ! Now that's one of a bizarre research I have come across lately? Just a pondering thought , does that mean we should only study on gloomy days ?? If u are aware , Delhi's gloomy weather is a trending topic too on twitter,thanks to all the pollution which has made our skies smoggy, And it doesn't seem too much of a stretch to suggest that this massive pollution might set off its own chain reaction ! Hence PLS DO NOT LIGHT  FIRE CRACKERS this Diwali (biggest Indian festival) !!! And this fog better rest by Saturday, because there are festivities and outdoor pictures to take . So just Hang in here!

CutOut Shoulders Trend

Finally an outfit click, after ages !  Its time to enjoy pre-fall weather,and before we say bye -bye to shorts and shorter sleeves, I decided to wear my cut-out shoulder blouse, for the last time ,Moreover  the upcoming month is full of festivities  n weddings and  planning an individualized outfit for each event and  that too for the whole family, is quite a task too ! I think its time to systematically plan my shopping the way I plan my blog and my life and things will be sorted and the phase will pass leisurely . I am not complaining but  these thoughts of shopping and re-doing my home have been bottling up more than any other creative outfit ideas or interesting stuff  and I need a lengthy spell out of my busy schedule!

After dipping my feet into the sandy beaches,adorned with miles of palmy trees, we decided to go on an exploring trip ! Rented a bike and went beach combing ! Came back tired ,just in time to watch a spectacular sunset and took some candid shots ! Later in the evening attended some Indian musical classical concert and did some dancing too ! Since this skirt of mine had already become a favorite(refer previous post),this time I paired it with a cropped tee and some statement earrings and wore a neon lip-color,so that my family could easily find me in the dark !
I was so lucky to get this skirt from e-bay for a great bargain of 30$ and  feel I have done complete justice to the price since I already wore it a number of times(rain gods choice).  Men and women are very different when it comes to this, isn't it? but we all know women are more into looks and outer appearance than men, and its simple because they want to remain and feel special ! Of cource there is no harm in this , but discerning people on the basis of clothes(always) can get them wrong at times !!

Romper Trend-The Colour Blocking Way

Today's post is fitness related,answers to all the questions by my readers and few friends(who are reading my blog) are sorted here ! So hold on ....
Recently everyone has been asking me about my sudden drop of weight,and its true.I got my family panicked to no extent, when lost about 3 kgs last month and maybe about 5 inches overall ! For so many years I have been gymming, specially after childbirth and lost significantly and accepted the fact that the last five kgs would surely stick around me forever, but I was wrong ! My body got so used to a typical workout that it stopped responding ! I realized that I started to stagnate at the same weight, even if I did the same amount of exercise while sticking to dietary restrictions. I figured out,shook things up and worked out twice a day(aerobics+jogging) ! yes ! If you think I am insane you can stop reading right here.. I noticed I was toning up,and pledged all my life to continue the same way forever. Entered Spur(a problem of the heel bone area),and I was advised not to Jog.

Since  I had a soldout mindset,I started swimming on a daily basis,after my usual morning workout. Sometimes I switched between aerobics and dance,which really helped my waist trim and handles vanish all of a sudden.

Incase you sail in the same boat or look for some motivation to provide the little nudge you need, you may find help from my first hand experience...
 
Don't allow yourself to get complacent, though - as soon as your current regimen feels easy, change it up and try something different.
For god's sake do not diet rather opt for healthy eating. I love fried foods and some days I eat them too, but discipline is the key.
Start with jog or walk and see whether it helps.If u want to add some spice to your workout-add dance,(I recently took up Zumba)However,the idea is to change your routine once every two or four weeks, in order to see better results .Increase the intensity and time spent,and U'll witness the shedding part, even your clothes to a point ! After all its about feeling good , which Indubitably I am..

Neon Inspiration

Today's look is also inspired by Neon colours.. Some fashion trends don't flatter the human form  and others probably only suit about just a percentage of the population,but wearing neon highlights in balanced dozes can bring out the oomph factor in any individual. Recently I made friends with an eighty year old british NRI,who joins me for swimming almost everyday,and she flaunts neon colour swimsuits making pretty much a fashion definition.Though her logic of wearing one is that she wants to be noticed incase of any mishaps,but that is from her point of view. And believe me she looks so happy when I tell her that she is a fashion diva,setting trend examples from as such as a swim suit. There is no set of age of people for Inspiration,and she has motivated me enough to buy one in neon yellow too.If u know of a place or any online store just let me know,it will be a treat for me,and I'll definitely refrain myself from posting pictures of the subject on my blog(ever heard of scandalizing our readers?)

Palazzo and the messy bun

Shopping online has currently become my favourite hobby for a simple reason of its convenience ! However I observe a lot of people still can't take it, Or they may just enjoy the physical experience of shopping in a traditional brick-and-mortar store. As for the outfit part, I just love my Palazzo pants and the reasons are innumerable ! Firstly they are currently in trend,  secondly amazing comfort and thirdly I got them at a dirt cheap price $5 !(thrifted). And  I also tried the messy bun hair , Have a look !
