Its monsoons and I need a miracle product to get out of that frizz. Will you believe me if I tell you, that my hair looks like Broccoli in monsoons and out of those beautiful Instagram photos which you see of my hair, there is a labour intensive work and endless hair products dumped on my head to tune those fancy pics.
I am always up for testing whats new in the haircare section than any other department, not even fashion that much , and Wella professionals just sent me a few stuff from their new launches and I couldn't be more than happy to put everything to test. Today's post talks about all the 3 products so lets get straight to the reviews.

The Week After My #HairIsFashion Lakme Showstopping Hair + Win A hair Makeover (Closed)

Its been more than a week since I got my Makeover at Lakme. I washed my hair later , and was pretty impressed that the color from the temporary extension had not bleeded. It's as good as new, and heck, there is an itch wanting to get some more .
Recently I had to attend a wedding, and went ahead and did some curling . Later when I looked at myself thoroughly, I wasn't able to show off my Helix extension straight on. I guess the blow dried hair works the trick here ,and that's what I did too for this look. After spritzing some water, I gave the hair a good shake with my hands and , then straightened it all out again . Finally figured that being flamboyant comes at a price, and straight hair works for this deal.
Here is the look I created . I created a slight-side part , so that I could pull out some wispy pieces of the Fuchsia  color along the way in the front, and pinned the other side only to leave the colored streak to do the talking. Its a great way to show the colors, and make a hair statement. When we live in a perfect world, with perfectly manicured hands, and flying kisses, and those jazzy outfits, and the grooming habits , Nothings trumps the hair, and it has to be as showstopping as if you just walked a ramp.

The Countdown to  "Be my Valentine" has just about started . Besides being the "Love Month" February is also the month , when most of us say " I Do", coz its the month of weddings too. As a couple, I love a mushy mushy push to this day, by fate coz we are celebrating 10 years of marriage as well, just a day before V day, and to begin with, he has already got something crazy for me, which you can lay your drool worthy eyes on ,through my Instagram feed :)
Talking of ways to flaunt the best outfit for the day(previous post here) I am certainly having a bent towards everything blush and pink these days,And if you don't remember,let me remind you that I am wearing the same dress over this year for my Valentines week. The previous post being This !! See !! I think there is a sub-conscious mind-meld happening or could be the ricochets  of my previous Valentine karma, that is making me  bounce back and grab the same dress, and wear it differently. Plus I wanted the focus to be my New glasses(which u can shop), so safe to say, I spinned the rest masterfully to create a style similarity yet in a different concoction. Do you want the hair, that every women gets dreaming about ?  Ever since college , I have been using the phrase, "Let me show you how to dance with your hair ". Come 2015, I feel like re-phrasing it all again, and say " Lets turn head with Show-Stopper hair.

Trench Weather

I was longing to share my look after the recent hair coloring session, while my hair was still at the blow dried best !! You can read about it here. It has given me a new boost of confidence, (always do btw) And when a super job is handled by the best in the industry, there is no room for dissatisfaction.
Today I just re-created an outfit, I wore recently to an event. Its pretty cold outside, and its just fair to re-invent no-brainer outfits, or the ones you had tried earlier. Right now, its a perfect trench weather, I love mine for its endearing style and raising the bar of femininity with my dresses. Black , blue n grey may be your winter staples, but I always find adding  a punch of color for a more impactful statement, or mixing color in wild ways, coz that way I find out what works the best for me. Too overpowering ?? Nahhh... Well, after all ,the only thing I might have to lose is my ennui.

Hair coloring is the new -"Makeup for Hair " and it cannot be overlooked coz self confidence is factoring into self-image lately. Need a boost of confidence ? Or wanna change the way people perceive about you ? Then better be the color chameleon !!
Its been two months since I got "High- Art "Red highlights from Geetanjali Salon. I loved the whole experience and my priceless look post that, which fetches me lot of compliments(till date ). Not to forget, it was first time I experimented with different colors. And with the tiny maintenance , I was able to retain the color for this long too.

Geetanjali Salon- A Concept hair Studio By Sumit Israni, just spread its wings over to Select City walk , Saket, Delhi and I was invited to avail a few services of our choice. When it comes to Hair and color, you need trusted hands. I mean there could be a gazillion salons doing the same kind of stuff for you , and may just lure one with discounts and offers, and the next minute it could turn out to be worst experience of our lives. It left me in tears once(in Hongkong) and from then on, I don't mind paying more to get professional over experience enabled person touching my hair at least. I am very critical about hair salons and am very cautious where my money is spent.
Sumit Israni(Owner) is famous for his specialization and celebrity styling and is such a warm personality ! I had a cut from him once , before he moved to Dubai and from then on, I was seeking him forever .
