After a decade of wearing crop tops and tees, I was introduced to this pretty Marsala coloured CAPE style top by Qbikfashion from their festive collection. The trend hunters at Qbik says that ,crop tops are the thing of the past , and its time to move on and celebrate the new moods of the season - Enter Cape Top :)
This half cape in contrasting colour as well as the traditional print was enough to complete my semi, Diwali festive look which actually worked out as a pretty versatile option while I threw in a perfect rooftop card party at my place.Took the pics a while before it all started, and after a few minutes, the heels finally came off. Clearly they were only meant for sober feet !!
The idea of the whole look was to create an ensemble that would work pretty well besides the regular Indian wear, and I wanted to do something light and fun and experiment with new shapes and colours. The booties looked modern and interesting with my cropped pants /culottes, and this graceful larger than life statement necklace from wildflower, added that zing to these warm and sharply tailored pieces.
The henna on hands is from Karva Chauth , and enjoyed an unexpected moment of drift from the regular too cut and dry festive dressing. I love the way how each piece of accessory from the dapper ST. mawes Daniel wellington watch to the Jewelry, to the clutch is kickstarting a sense of celebration. So while sniffing this festive aroma in the air, let me put down the links of everything I am wearing just below and decode this easy style for you to achieve within minutes.
HAPPY DIWALI xoxo
