Trench Weather

I was longing to share my look after the recent hair coloring session, while my hair was still at the blow dried best !! You can read about it here. It has given me a new boost of confidence, (always do btw) And when a super job is handled by the best in the industry, there is no room for dissatisfaction.
Today I just re-created an outfit, I wore recently to an event. Its pretty cold outside, and its just fair to re-invent no-brainer outfits, or the ones you had tried earlier. Right now, its a perfect trench weather, I love mine for its endearing style and raising the bar of femininity with my dresses. Black , blue n grey may be your winter staples, but I always find adding  a punch of color for a more impactful statement, or mixing color in wild ways, coz that way I find out what works the best for me. Too overpowering ?? Nahhh... Well, after all ,the only thing I might have to lose is my ennui.

Indian Fashion Week Street Style Blog - Lookbook | Full Skirt and Sequin Jacket

In no particular order, this was one of the outfits from Wills Lifestyle fashion Week , the ultimate spot and fashion circus for fashion obsessed to sport, what they deem is in trend fashion wise or maybe not.

Funny though it may sound, it almost seemed like an adult Prom with the all Gup-Shup on who is wearing what, and who is pretty close to the runway curve ? So you like , what am wearing . hmmm ! The rain of compliments have the usual age-old questions - Which designer are you wearing today ? Whatever happened to street style and mixing and matching of irreverent street finds ? It really daunts on me that even the street style has the term "STREET "- A sidewalk style which need not necessarily be made up of catwalk clothes with illustrious labels ? So why this question anyway ? I think that the idea of mixing luxury and mass market fashion is very modern.I have proved my love to pairing designer labels with street picked stuff, even if its only in the accessory part. Its just my style, and a new era in fashion for me, which I am exploring and  Seriously there are no- rules :)

Ombre Palette

Today's outfit  is inspired by Cassata,brick like layered ice-creams of different flavors on liqueur soaked sponge,which I doted on during my childhood days !Although it has been ages I indulged in to it,but I am gonna surely do that now, coz this photoshoot just activated my taste buds and old memories! The moment I saw this top, which apparently has all the cassata color palette, I became nostalgic of the days , having it at college canteen and was totally game for bringing this light ombre blouse with me !  Though pastels can be a bit overwhelming, neutral shades provide a fantastic and  fashionable balance, hence I decided to pair this with my white denims(Inspiration chloe and acne ) and some sequins too ! And if you are not ready to say bye -bye to pastels,yet, you can still rock them for fall too ! Here's How:

• Mix up basic fall colors with a pastel color from the same family- (eg- pink +burgundy, pale blue and dark teals, black with sea world inspired colors and so on !
• Pairing them with neutrals always work for the fall look as well ! Remember to incorporate it as an accent color and not the main color of your outfit. 
• Start introducing from bits here and there and see how they look !Add pastels in the form of glossy accessories with dark make-up for the brave high contrast look !
