Inspired By Fashion Week

Today's outfit is a Re-Run of a sneak peek u all would have seen,during Fashion week days. Its finally making it to the blog , yes thank god .

For most of us who make it to the lavishness of the fashion week with its own dress codes and haunts, its a fantasy on the runway,while the others gaped their phones and their favourite fashion people live streamed pictures on Instagram. Fashion show days have a different kind of vibe. 

Taking the leverage of these events, we common mortals(btw you can easily identify these people at fashion week) fingers tapping on phone, slowly strolling the venue, eye contact minimal, sipping tea and in between pointing phones at a mirror for pictures to cover on the blog.Basically Low profile that is. 

While there are those flaunting their guccis in the face, air-kissing with designers , talking as loud as they could with a verbal fashion diarrhea and  some slangs which I don't understand, a walk which would put a shame to any online couture queen, papped by new interns(you would find them  on second row and how ?) who specifically stalked these self -acclaimed diva(s) on Instagram only to the day where they could bolster their online validation and rub a few goody bags in the face of their deprived friends boasting about their fashion connections. 

I know for a fact that fashion has a hierarchy. The influencers like editorials wears anything which speak more directional pieces, buyers -more of commercial dressing , while its the bloggers who care about creative  and original design  and  good craftsmanship. 

They explore,  translate runway fashion to convertible fashion(budget it too , if need be) for a thousands of those who doesn't know how it's done. To me, they are the actual influencers who pay attention to designers collection and then closely create items heavily influenced by or have similar elements and manage to stay on "Point " And its when they actually irrigate the garden of Self-Made. 

So all my lovely bloggers out there- Just  believe in your HYPE, keep doing the awesome work you do coz  REAL-ITY is made up of being  Real, and you all are the only ones having that.

P.S- This is just a rant, an observation, and doesn't mean to hurt anyone's emotional balance. Take it in good humour .

Thus Blue The Wind - Feat. Miss Chase

So My lips are Blue and My hair is Red, and as you would scroll down these pics, there would be a lot of judging happening along !  So when You can't judge a book by its cover, its better that you stop. I mean heck, there's a lot of stuff besides the blue lips that you should be interested in knowing .

Like this new shopping destination Miss Chase, and my totally Rad and super cool frayed leggings.

So the people at Miss Chase were really kind to send me a few products to style and I picked up this very, Bowish feminine blouse which was really capable of lending these super natural powers to flaunt these Blue lips. So if there is any daring style or a thought , which always skips the practicality (god save us from the fear of judgemental eyes ), online shopping could really be a Savior . You never know when your inventive imaginings thread their way into an eye-popping and tactile styles appreciated by a sartorial eye.

I loved the style of the bows which meets the V neck slash down the spinal bone. Since I am practically known to do a lot of mismatching and fusing stuff, I did a beauty and the beast look in a single outfit meaning some Rad business from the frontal, and feminine bows to give a tinged notion,a mix suggesting nothing so much as an ultrahip, modern-day girl bond, and I wish I could explain how I made people's head turn to a 270 degree angle with a bemused look when I walked down on the streets !!

Besides this pretty blouse there is a pretty LBD waiting for the dress weather to start and make a blog appearance too .

So Miss Chase, is an online fashion brand retailing  trendy European designs,  for women and have a well curated section for all our fashion needs . The prices are pretty affordable , and the selection is vast. From Fashion dresses , to outerwear to formals, you may just find something to suit your style and budget. Their jewelry section is a must visit, if you are an accessory buff . Each and every piece is unique and trendy with some must vintage treasures too for staple wardrobe building . Do give it a glance , and I am sure you could design an entire outfit  for any kind of occasion with them.

Fashion Trend-Stripes And Layering

In India(specially Delhi), its a bit of a daring expression if you roam about on the streets wearing a tube or a spaghetti. Even though you pull the look fantastically, women are supposed to wear place-appropriate clothes, unless its Ok for you to go out and be hounded by prying eyes, which is not the case with most of girls- And that  I am pretty sure of .
Shrugs have become so Yesterday for me. I always look out for light cover-ups or summery jackets, which can be just thrown on your deep tanks or noodle necks .And for this simplest reason I have bounded love for light button down shirts !
But then I have a small problem with them too.  My Button-down shirts seem prohibitive for movement for me. I feel like I'm in a straight jacket, especially if they are longer sleeve.  I look good in them if they are more fitted , but I just can't get comfortable. Not to sound like a broken Record, but if you hate something , do not wear it ! Doesn't matter who says its a must have or a classic piece. Just Screw it ! 
So Instead , I always fish for a perfect button down in my Hubs closet  for layering during monsoons or always buy them in one size big !! Problem solved.
Layer your buttons down with a  boring dress, and you could bring life to it .
Layer them over, Hide your tanks/ tubes with a buttons down, and you become the next sober girl in your locality !!
Layer them underneath a tunic/Cardi and you have an Evolved look in seconds .
And before you become judgmental in what I really have for this Black and  White stripe skirt, or whether my wardrobe has gone in for a strike Its better I downpour you with OOTD Pictures.

Spring/Summer 2013 Trends- Top to Bottom White Look

Big or a small vacation, I am a chronic Over packer, and mostly end up not wearing even half of what I carry !! Though past so many years I have tried to master the art of packing less, but have yet to really get the hang of it ! But one thing, I have learnt so far ,is that to carry a few staple pieces ,which are gonna help me sail through my vacations easily without being repetitive ! One such staple for me is my white denims ! One should never underestimate the versatility of the basic white bottoms ! It is one of those pants that can be taken from a casual day at the beach to a cocktail party effortlessly. 
The pictures are from last weekend from my vacation to lansdowne (I blabbered about it in my previous post :) :) 
 Have been loving an all white look lately !! Why? coz I feel it makes towards a much more refreshing statement ! Also I love the way it looks against my skin, plus it's the best blank canvas for accessorizing !! However for this outfit I grounded the monochrome look by adding a neon necklace and matched it with the clutch ! To sum up, I think all white looks beautiful. I wouldn't call it a recent trend ,As it has become an all-year color,and not just one that comes around summers. 
Though Hubs is always nervous about me spilling some coffee on my whites as if It seems to be a magnet for those little coffee spills/drips.(hehe) But the fact is that I am clumsy in my real life and I always find random stains on my clothes at the end of the day :(

Monochrome Swing

There's no greater feeling out there in the world when you realize that you are about to pack the bags and go for a holiday ! Yes its Goa calling time for me ! A long due trip planned and executed. I haven't been away on a proper holiday for about eight months now(I am not counting my short trips to Agra and Jaipur) so this one should be good to relax,especially considering that I have a week long of work to do after I come back . Hope I would be recharged and refreshed in the process !
Today's outfit is yet again a monochrome.Just added a hint of red,to glam a tired face(u can make that out from the first pic). Its another three month to fall and since I have decided to go easy on my shopping,to avoid being broke; a lot of reusing of clothes is expected. In fact I dug this vest out from last year's just in anticipation that it would suffice for this fall. This is how I endorse reduce ! Do u do that often too ?
