Into the Wild With Leopard Print- Trends 2013

Though I had enough reasons to be bogged down, and go in for a quite celebration for my Birthday at home ,But, With everyone trying to make you happy, greet you, and throw some celebration for you, you just can't say No; even when I knew that I would be limping ! If you are looking for quite and a romantic celebration, especially when the spring breeze adds on , nothing like an open air Restaurant !! That's where we decided to head to lesser known niche dining areas of Delhi,hidden in those where you are gonna get lost, lanes leading towards the Garden of Five senses..Along with food,if you would like to be amused with some wild eating out jungle kind of experience,then head over to Magique !!
Breezy night, Live Dj,Candlelit tables, with  a jungle setting giving a forest kind of vibe is a nice touch,Very different from the usual ambiance that you get in restaurants and there amidst all that you have your dining table ! For me, an ambiance which  allows for a quiet meal and a place to talk with sufficient room while gorging on the fine food,surely takes the Cake .
Eating out at times seems to be mundane ,then all you need is a little adventure along with that to pep it up ,and this place provides you with that surely !
Later after our tummies couldn't take more, we decided to shake that carb and hopped over to the adjoining Pub Barka, where the Dj was on full throttle and was playing those upbeat commercial music.

Winter Statement With Sweaters And Rivets

I am a busy mom, work from home ,traveling at times too, and in between whatever time I am left with BLOG ! So when it comes to DIY and devoting long hours into creating something fashionable and unique , I kind of run away ! BTW I really love to create cool hairstyles and can do most with some practice on my daughter but have no chance on my own. Thanks to YouTube,which actually inspire lesser mortals like me to go a step further with basic know hows !This sweater was an easy DIY, inspired by one from Zara ! I just managed to get some cool rivets on one of my shopping spree days at Lajpat Nagar,and there I had it, I knew where I am gonna put them up ! Paired it with my basic white denims yet again ! Minimalistic Trend With a Pop Of Color

What do you get when u cross a blogger and a small pup ? Hide and Seek ! Its not that I like to pull a lot of funny expressions, but couldn't help it ! End result-  distraction and la-la land ! Pups are not pic friendly,hence could not take even a single steady pic, so u'll have to bear with mine ! Have a look !

I love creating look which is minimal and pop at the same time, giving a perfect lift to an otherwise demure outfit ! Using bold splashes of colors always takes a minimal look to the next level ! I love to build my wardrobe around staples first, and add standout pieces in  bright colors coz for me accessorizing with brights can be a lot of fun ! A basic transitional look, can get a makeover by just adding fit for fall accessories ! With the approach of winters, it's time to start thinking about pieces that can transition into cooler weather, and this summer dress turned out to be weather perfect ! Tell me what ya'll think !?

Bird Of Prey

Had to complete this project as a part of my daughter's school assignment where a visit to a historic place is a must every month, more of a personal project for me too ,since I have hardly visited any after I got over my school ! Total Shame ! Henceforth not a bad location for an outfit shoot ! Was not prepared for the same but never mind ! Rush is a time to show off your personal laid back ,style—right? These pictures are from Lodi garden ,A tranquil and peaceful park with  numerous beautiful trees ! It is, in fact, a bird watcher's paradise. Here you can see some exotic birds like babblers, parakeets, mynahs, hornbills, kingfishers, and so on(u can also spot them on my shirt BTW(kidding) ! Sheer Coincidence ! The garden also serves as a picnic spot and as a venue for yoga classes that are held every morning. And apparently this happens to be my especial workout place too,coz of the Piquant breakfast I get to hog at the Garden Restaurant after my class ! These collar chains were lying in my bag since I forgot to keep them back the last time I wore them, hence made a nice saving accessory to add drama to my dressed down look !! My nude lips got a swipe of  Dior Holiday palette, and I was ready to pose for my space on this blog !

Graphic Tee Trend

This week started of on a hectic note, and planning my daughter's sixth birthday has lately been pushing me to the wall, keeping me busy as a beaver ! Which also means holy deprivation of getting clicked for outfits ! Forget being clicked,most days of the week I swear by my track pants and shoes which makes me feel like a schlub , missing my female playtime getting into makeup, clothes, and shoes with not even a peep into my closet !sigh! WTH? What happened to the girl in stilettos? a question which was asked by my  friend, when I ran into her twice while buying errands ! Am I dressing up to impress OTHER women and their peers? Just a thought I am pondering at right now !
Truthfully, though, I don't think my husband cares what I wear. He responds in exactly the same way when I'm totally scrubbed out as he does when I'm dressed to kill.  These pictures are from the last time being dressed(early october), which ofcource in the blogging world can be branded as ages !

Monochrome Swing

There's no greater feeling out there in the world when you realize that you are about to pack the bags and go for a holiday ! Yes its Goa calling time for me ! A long due trip planned and executed. I haven't been away on a proper holiday for about eight months now(I am not counting my short trips to Agra and Jaipur) so this one should be good to relax,especially considering that I have a week long of work to do after I come back . Hope I would be recharged and refreshed in the process !
Today's outfit is yet again a monochrome.Just added a hint of red,to glam a tired face(u can make that out from the first pic). Its another three month to fall and since I have decided to go easy on my shopping,to avoid being broke; a lot of reusing of clothes is expected. In fact I dug this vest out from last year's just in anticipation that it would suffice for this fall. This is how I endorse reduce ! Do u do that often too ?

Checkered Flare

If you need a little outfit inspiration, and run out of fresh ideas,or your fashion magazine stock and just too lazy to grab one,just head over to your nearest parlor and kill two birds with one stone. ie,While your masseuse pampers your body, checkout all the fashion magazines .

Today's outfit takes its cue from one such similar exercise of mine,where I stumbled upon Eva Mendes picture in a checkered shirt with flared denims-(minus the dog),though my dutiful husband volunteered to fit in the bill, but since he wanted a diamond leash, I decided to pass the idea, And let me assure you, he's more ferocious than the Alsatian in the picture :) haha.

It turned out to be a blessing in disguise as the weather was too humid,for me to wear anything tight,a loose checkered shirt borrowed from husband, provided perfect ventilation.

Flower Flow

Finally the monsoons have arrived in Delhi, If u are on twitter with me u would know for sure how I missed rain,after all heavy sweat does pay off..In fact,Its so hot applied not just to weather a couple of days ago but also to twitter as #Delhisummers was among the top trending topics. Just read ,that some tweeples think that the rains are proof that god's on twitter-he must've liked all that tweeting they say, and sent some rain our way..And I only thought  that God is behaving like an elusive client... and he is not available for comment... This was what I wore to celebrate rains alongwith the blooming flowers,excited like a kid ready to go shopping and get the best of both world's...Any guess's ....are the pink n orange flowers of mother nature merging into my dress or the other way round :)
