Easy DIY Bedroom Makeover Hacks - Inspired By Beautiful Homes

Wednesday, 30 November 2016 / , , ,

We just passed a good festival season when not only the leaves become slightly Red, also our homes are cleaned, ransacked , primed and retouched .
Its a tradition, or at least an unwritten law in India , to wait for the appropriate time of the year to get the things fixed . Before Internet or My space came into being, painting of the house /whitewashing was the only customary term associated with Diwali renovations. But in today's time renovation is a whole new game and thank god for internet, this time my imagination was running pretty wild, when I had the sudden urge to make small changes in my bedroom - not very massive or overtly expensive , but I wanted a lot of existing things like light fixtures, to wall hangings to move and make place for the new and "TRENDY STUFF "(snaps fingers **) to enter which would eventually help me create more space in my bedroom. There was a lot of work for me to do and  I needed a second opinion on everything .

DIY Crystals at Swarovski India Office | Event Spotlight

Wednesday, 10 June 2015 / ,

Last month I got a fancy invite personally hand-delivered with utmost care. It was from Swarovski Crystals . They wanted to have me over for a crafternoon Tea-Party In the crystal land, ie. their sparkling head office in Gurgaon for a fun DIY session  with loose crystals.

It was bound to be fun, and I couldn't wait to explore what we would be unlocking with the key which was being sent along and  were suppose to carry  after the prompt reminders by the PR team .
It all started with seating us according to the key numbers, in front of a box which looked like this.

Rock Studs And Mickey Mouse Print | Delhi - Street Style

Friday, 21 February 2014 / , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

In case you missed the bombardment on my IG feed about the Cosmo/max event, then this blog post could be for you. I wore this outfit to the Cosmopolitan and Max Fashion Icon Delhi Finale which was held at The Kila, Delhi. It was my first time visiting this place, and I assumed it would be freezing as the fashion show should be outdoors, and I was right. Well It's rewarding if one trust their Gut and that just saved me too from freezing in outdoors as I picked up this Wool sweater to wear.I was in a mood to emancipate the Rock Chic Glam avatar that day, and added a spike cuff to match along the Studs(diy) on my shoulder.I picked up these cute mickey print pants from Bangkok on my last trip, but couldn't find them ever in the unending chaos of my closet clutter.Later I saw them hanging when I was looking out for something else and this outfit happened.Besides unleashing the Rock chic archetype, we had a lil fun shooting these photos too ! I wiped out a whole box of rum chocolates before leaving . Hubs says it reflected in the pics ? Unshackled much ??  Do you think so too ?

Mixing Prints/Retro Look /Fashion Street Style

Wednesday, 2 October 2013 / , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

I love to take a break from cooking time to time , and just order food online ! Its pretty easy when you have last minute unexpected guests, and you don't wanna run around but spend time hosting them instead. I have ordered twice from Foodpanda, already and I am happy over the fact, that they are adding up more and more of my favorites restaurants to choose from . Plus their last minute deals are irresistible coz I get them delivered straight to my mail box .I once scored a free movie ticket when I last ordered my food from them. Win-Win u see !!
Coming to today's outfit, I love the playful vibe these kind of dresses offer and can be effortlessly dressed down or up. In case you may just notice, I have mixed a lot of prints here.
Stripes + leopard print are enough to engage one in the boldness while my slutty  shoes are happy to have a colorful romance with their new mistress a.k.a my neon laces !! If you may wish then check out how these shy babies looked in their early innocent days, by taking a peek at my Instagram feed  My bag (earlier declared lost) seems to be thanking me enough for the extra effort which I lately put in bid adieu my old luggage, and it apparently got united with me from the world of the abandoned !!! Delighted to war with the leopard on  prowl this printed Elle Satchel  gives a fine distraction to this printed maze look, making one print talk louder than the others;flooding the eyes of passerby's with flickers in their eyes  .

DIY Peacock Pendant

Saturday, 21 July 2012 / , ,

Just a small post to display the creativity of my genius husband.I am not bragging but Yes, I am one of the lucky girls to be married to an artist. On his recent visit to Mumbai , he collected some shells for my daughter from the beach, And just one day, he came up with this... Maybe the pictures might not do complete justice to the pendant, but once worn, it really turned a lot of heads !You just need to be fortunate to find something abstract and few glitters, rhinestones(not used in this one) and then let all the creative brain cells do the racking..until you come out with something similar.Away from the mundane, stereotype & trendy.Diamonds are carbon stones cut and polished, but natural rock formations thrown out by the mighty ocean can only be painted and appreciated as they are!Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder.Any guesses.. bird..peacock..or you are able to spot some other art form do share in the comment section below, Who knows this might just be the auction piece going to Christie's:)
