Brand Spotlight : Femella.In

Tuesday, 9 December 2014 / , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Today's Brand Spotlight is on Femella.in. They organized a bloggers preview of their A/W collection last month(delhi/ncr) and we had the privilege to check into the new stuff and feel what they had in store for us these winters. Capes have taken over the trend game, and we love showing them off don't we ? So the minute I spotted this tulip cape on their website, I was thinking these gnarly glasses, A 90's look, some teased hair, and a Ribbon headband. Although what's missing here is a scrunchie and I won't lie if I tell you that I had George Michael running in mind , but lets leave that for next time to set in.
Femella.in has a line of trendy outfits at unbeatable price. Their fleece collection is weather appropriate and the minute I ran my hands through the cloth, I felt that it was pretty apt for the winter chills we face in Delhi. The collection is not only updated, of course in vibrant flashes of earthy silhouettes, seen both in fleece and mesh fabrics in red, blue, and black palettes, but each item brings out a cool n dynamic athletic vibe at prices that won't put a hole in ur Purse.
Besides this look, I call this outerwear the Show piece of all the outfits coz(yeah not only it swings me back to 90s) but  there are an innumerable ways that this could be styled, plus with a new twist in the cut, and Hi-Lo detailing  I can't wait to show off what more I could do with their collection.
Among other exotic elements, I love the effect these velvet leggings are lending it out to make the outfit more tangy and saucy. So let me just warm up to more ideas of wearing this cape in many other ways, and bring these styles for you to embrace, till then, give Femella.in a peek an tell me what you think ?

Retro Meets Parisian Chic | Indian Street Style

Friday, 10 October 2014 / , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

An outfit with clean lines and a traditional feel with bits of modernism infused. There are some clothes which makes me feel like that. One need not be born in Paris to have a Parisian Style.
So I decided to deliver Parisian chic  by mixing things and pairing too obvious price tags with  street picked stuff. All one needs is a mix of timeless taste with individual creativity. Looking natural and having an allure of life is my idea of sartorial fashion Mash-ups .
I was listening to my cotton candy side when I planned on creating a Retro meets Parisian Chic look on the blog.  Pretty Pastel with mint green, some blush and the Lavender which came in a black box , well let's just say that I was Brave enough to do a head to toe Pastel look, but  why not, when You've had a closet full of baby blue and baby pink stuff from last season, how do you make it look new again ?

Mixing Prints/Retro Look /Fashion Street Style

Wednesday, 2 October 2013 / , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

I love to take a break from cooking time to time , and just order food online ! Its pretty easy when you have last minute unexpected guests, and you don't wanna run around but spend time hosting them instead. I have ordered twice from Foodpanda, already and I am happy over the fact, that they are adding up more and more of my favorites restaurants to choose from . Plus their last minute deals are irresistible coz I get them delivered straight to my mail box .I once scored a free movie ticket when I last ordered my food from them. Win-Win u see !!
Coming to today's outfit, I love the playful vibe these kind of dresses offer and can be effortlessly dressed down or up. In case you may just notice, I have mixed a lot of prints here.
Stripes + leopard print are enough to engage one in the boldness while my slutty  shoes are happy to have a colorful romance with their new mistress a.k.a my neon laces !! If you may wish then check out how these shy babies looked in their early innocent days, by taking a peek at my Instagram feed  My bag (earlier declared lost) seems to be thanking me enough for the extra effort which I lately put in bid adieu my old luggage, and it apparently got united with me from the world of the abandoned !!! Delighted to war with the leopard on  prowl this printed Elle Satchel  gives a fine distraction to this printed maze look, making one print talk louder than the others;flooding the eyes of passerby's with flickers in their eyes  .
