Fashion How to wear Shorts and Backpacks | Chic Summer Outfit

The only thing that helps me in keeping my Sanity this summers is living in shorts and tight rolling my  tees . Maybe its the airy feeling they evoke, and for this reason, I don't mind putting my hand through my Hubs closet, and dig out some Oversized tees like these ! A fun take on these Comfortable cotton Tees is to dial up the chic factor and knot them or better still just roll them like a Thelawala (translate-vegetable hawker). I do and you can too, and If you are wondering, that's exactly from where I derive all my summer wear inspirations from lol..
This bagpack is the most revolutionary addition to my closet.It is an accessory in a timeless style, a statement piece  and not just this seasons Fad..And with a  basic color like this which would always resurface, I wonder why I am late in hopping the fashion wagon.I love it when fashion takes a turn and makes a full circle, which makes me believe that nothing is off limits. I wish that life's cyclical nature could hold true and one day I should be able to live the magical aesthetic nostalgia of old friendships , which seems lost as of now.

Sporty Fashion - Romper and Snapback Hat

I love giving my sportswear a spin most of the times, and keep on experimenting with as many looks as I can, by keeping them in the spotlight ! My love for everything and anything sporty is well documented on the blog too, hence this time around I decided to play with my sporty Romper ..Its funny to me how this trend takes it back to basically what a baby would wear (lol). But its true and it so happened that they did make a fashion entry back in 2012. 
So what is this Romper thing we are talking ? 
A romper is a one-piece short suit that has short sleeves (or sometimes no sleeves) and often has a built-in belt !! Lot of women n celebrities have been rocking them on the streets, which clearly tells us one thing for sure- That they are not for babies any-more ! Secondly I am  much for a game towards them while I know that most of you are nodding in a  Naah expression-  as they are truly convenient to wear in places where it gets windy or where its a bit inadequate to wear a dress. (remember those childhood bike ride days in dungarees ?  )
You wear them wrong and you might end up looking like a slob, or  Doughy, but if you get them right, The protocol says that you are definitely blending with the trend, and are about to make a fashion statement ! So how do you fit in this Romper mold ? Here's how :
Hair N Make-up:Too much fussing with your hair or makeup doesn't suit the ‘romper look’.So stick to loose hair with flowing waves, or a Pony ! 
Accessories-Don’t over-accessorize. Pair Rompers with simple necklaces, and let the outfit shine on its own. Don't go too matchy with the bag too. A basic tote would be all you need Small purses won't look right with this causal outfit. Even if you have nothing to put in it, a big handbag is the perfect way to complement your romper .( tip- u can stuff it with an empty cardboard shoe box  :) :)
Shoes:Rompers definitely aren't meant to be glamorized. They’re comfortable, and your shoes should reflect this. Subtly chosen shoes are your best bet and will always compliment a Romper look  (pick wedges, Strappy flat sandals, and canvas shoes instead of chunky heels)

Summer trends -Tailored Shorts

Its that time of the year again, yes, the blazing summers ,and the shorts wearing season has started on for me ,and I go by my thumb rule , shorter the better ! Skorts or shorts are two things I don't skip in summers especially when I am  running errands ! Basically they are very practical for active women like me !!
I think a lot of Indian women too, are accepting them as outerwear,since they are effortless to style, be it for a day or night . Pair them with long tops ,and for  those of you who have got reallyyy, long legs,  pull them with high cropped tops  !
Wore this Tailored shorts, for Pearl workshop I mentioned in my previous post . This top seemed to be doing all the work for me, it has a beautiful back cut-out, its got lace, sheer, Neon and is totally  feminine ,couldn't think of a better way to incorporate all the latest trends in one post or one single outfit. 
Strange so, I have never endorsed so many sartorial absolutes in any of my previous posts(and I am feeling good about breaking the rule for good) .
However the smart,button down and heels enhanced my tailored shorts appearance by lending a strong feminine- menswear-inspired vibe to the whole look !
Pick this style if you’re looking at altering your fashion stance at work or for a hot summer date – a bit of leg show never hurt anybody.
