Winter Ponchos | Capes| Asymmetrical Skirts And Fashion Knee High Boots

best trendy hairstyles easy to do hairstyles trends for 2016

The last leg of winters are playing their usual game. It gets cold in the evening , but scorching heat during the day makes me  want to look at closetful of my sleeveless, waiting to be shaken off  the airtight.
But till that happens, lets take a look out there at my white boots , and this pretty  Poncho.
January had been an unfettered month, filled with boom and bust, lots of travelling , and experimenting fashion in different climates. How ? Let me explain...
There are some outfits which practically doesn't need much of thinking, and you throw a few pieces together, and you get- Boom- the mode of the day !!! Now see what I am talking about ?? (Boom-you got it )
It was one such day, where I practically did no thinking , except only cared to linger on the streets of India Gate (delhi), and see how they were taking up with the upcoming rehearsals for the 67th Republic Day Parade, and do some strutting alongside, matching boot whites to boot whites(u dont want to know what my auto-correct just suggested for boot haha )
Minutes later, after happily swirling in my cape or better just call it a Poncho,(it doesn't matter, coz the feminism of this piece, doesn't let me exercise dark and underground),It got crowded while the parliament was in full swing, and people came out of their offices to have lunch.
Their angle and sight was worth their lunch time, which made me pretty uncomfortable feeling a bit oddly dressed. Look at those knee high boots youuu. The stares kept on going from the boots and upwards, and for some it stopped at that hint of  flesh c/o this asymmetric skirt, not a good thing outdoors with staggering 400 multi-gender eyes but nevertheless it was a shoot , and what ought to be done should be done.
I kept my rest of the look pretty sleek, and didn't want to volumize any other part of my body, hence this bodylicious or booty-licious hugging (very red carpetyy) asymmetric skirt, came to light with full force.
Maybe the feeling was not that good on that day, but it surely is great at the moment as I pen down my thoughts and my response to the world around me. It was an underscore tribute to fashion on one of the most scenic place of our country in a best way I knew. Perhaps I should dismiss this feeling and rest my case, so that you move over the pictures, and let me know what you feel about this look?

Layered Burgundy Waterfall Women Coat

Are you too warm to be cold ? Or Are you too cold to be warm ? Have you done a good blazer investment for this year or the intermittent cold days, can get  you away wearing just the leather motto jackets ?  And what about our parkas and overcoats ? Will they see light this season  so that we can say , yeah man I am done and dusted with these ? Or are they still taking up our closet space waiting to be picked ? A big question mark  ain't it ????
Cutting all the above crap, what I  meant to say was - "WHERE ARE THE WINTERS "
I ordered my new coat from She.in and one foggy morning the little baby in me, beamed thinking - "What a perfect cold morning to bring out this pretty burgundy waterfall overcoat ."
BAM, I went, called my main behind the camera lens, and fixed up for a shoot thinking no Sun, so lets begin the fun . With a snail's speed, I started to play my dress up game, taking all the time in the world, peeking outside my bedroom window often, and thinking a huge coat and sweater times ahead. The baby was happy indeed.
Got dressed, put on my makeup, said a little prayer, slipped my legged feet into these mules , added a bulky scarf, tried the beanie, but it messed my hair, changed my mind and trotted about feeling good in the weight thinking about my sartorial sophistication.
Reached the spot, the sky got a bit clearer, and I could see a tiny speck of light peeking right onto my face. See how exposed a few of my pics are ?
Within minutes, the sun was right on my face, and totally sun-baked came out my first layer -  The scarf.
I felt like taking my coat off too, but then  that's what the whole post is about . To show you my frenzied fashion pairing with these ripped leggings, and exploring all fashion probabilities in what I call a very Universal weather .
I love the colour and fit of the coat. Got it at an unbelievable price from the website . Totally worth the money, and a great style too. I was gratified dressing up for Pseudo winters, at least got my coat out for a day, but what about the rest of the beautiful stuff I have ?
Hope that the changing weather algorithms shift for a bit so that my next post has a more complaining tone of how bone chilling cold it is.

#TravelDiaries | Ahmedabad | Bhuj | Rann OF Kutch | Mandvi Beach Gujarat

These pics were taken last month when we took a smallzy break to Ahmedabad , Bhuj and Rann of Kutch.
Gujarat had never been on my list of destinations to travel, but somehow the white Shallow Marsh Land of Kutch had always been a fancy and our famous bollywood flick -"Highway" did play a little role for me to consider giving this place a travel shot .
Although there is nothing much to do about in the city, except shopping at bargain prices for authentic handwork gujarati garments , (Must check out Law Garden) dined at Rajwadu  and fished out a few more restaurants that serve original Gujarati food . The food is pretty decent everywhere and a special mention to team Dominos , which really suck in Ahmedabad with their unexpected lousy service, especially the one next door to Novotel ( where we stayed)  The food comes cold and after almost an hour(hello 30 mins or free slogan?)

We also took a day trip to visit The World Heritage site - Sun temple and Rani ki Vav  (6 hrs by road to and fro)
Bhuj is interesting in terms of sightseeing too. Must check out Aina Mahal in Bhuj City . Built in gothic style, the palace survived 2001 Bhuj earthquake, and the cracks in the palace weep this horrified tale.
Our second last destination was the Tent city at Rann of Kutch a.k.a-  White Desert . Good ambience, lot of activities and the best Sunrise ever. The shopping is pretty expensive as compared to Bhuj, and since the artisans travelled from Bhuj to sell the same stuff at 3x the price, I decided to give it a skip, and leave that exercise for my return touch point via Bhuj.
The tent experience was not overwhelming, but that's the best our destination had to offer. Shot a look in the middle of the desert while the winds blew at 100kmph ( exaggeration).  Photos didn't turn out the way I expected, hence need to redo the entire look once again (cry face)
The last leg of my destination included Mandvi Beach resort. Another overrated destination, and similar tent style set up. The tents smelled awful with the only plus point of being on the beach, which was practically deserted. In the history of my travel in so many years, probably this was the only place which made me miss home so much. Seriously I couldn't wait to reach home all the time and almost blew off my top with the agent who booked us there . What was he thinking ?

I shopped from another website this time which is Zaful. Ordered another piece from them which is a total trash. I can almost use it to clean the house. As much as I love this look, and the style, of this maxi  I feel totally annoyed when websites fail to check quality control. If a brand is passionate about what they make , it shows. Why would they want me to wear a crappy product on the blog and make me look bad in front of my readers among other things ?
Anyways guys, sorry for my rant, seems like I have had a lot of unpleasant experiences last month, so I just want to get done with it in one single post and move ahead.
This post was supposed to go live yesterday. Sorry for the delay.
Sharing a few snippets from my travel too.
Wish everyone A Sweet Sixteen. Happy Holidays :)

Sporty Chic Mania

Monday, 21 September 2015 / , , , , , , ,

fashion jewelry accessories, hairbands ,shopping headbands,
Deep down the nostalgic path, let me just Time travel you all to my  post where I told you how I am loving this sporty chic trend.Sneakers with my outfits just let me play with the edge and the iridescent colours remind me of moments of summers with a crisper feeling.Even the french women are running around in their sheaths with sneakers haha..
The headband has made the comeback. The style is more or less the same, and mixing elegant with athletic pieces has a spirit of its own. I love to wake the unexpected most of times(usually). Looking for edgy things to add drama and then setting my sight to pieces geared to bringing the fun, without being sloppy cannot be a child's play.
For this look, I planned on having a silly dress up day. No reasons whatsoever. The mood was good, humidity was less, and the hair on my legs were recently plucked  (read  shaved). The high waist shorts, literally rides up into my Hoo-haa and has a mind of its own, which I think from next I am strictly using them for athleisure kind of appearance only.
The Crop from  Stalk Buy Love  in this summery refined  powder blue lets me exercise my quirk elements. With Autumn just around the corner, this is is one helluva take away trend that satiates all my fetish wear demands.Of Course the headband stays . Haven't figured much ways to spearhead this quirky accessory with other looks, but with fashion week round the corner, you are gonna see me styling this head-turner more often I guess.
