OOTD: Flare Pants with a Twist

What's a meal without a Dessert ? In the same sense, what's an outfit without accessories ? This summer is a little less than fete filled . Black gets a little intimidating to wear. The dynamic trend of fashion industry seeks a lot of creativity in accessories. The garment accessory is one such trend which can be just bought off the racks. They add a great definition to any outfit and can be easily worn and appreciated. This knee accessory from the label -AnuPd ( a talented friend and an amazing designer who has a knack of reshaping fashion we see and wear ) created a lot of buzz ever since it appeared at fashion week. Fashion week is a place where Kitsch wins over Chic and eccentricity indicates experiments, and after dazzling everyone in person it's time to dazzle everyone on the web.

My mood has been gloomy over the past few weeks .Things are dark and my mind is less focused. The dramatic risks which I love endorsing over my creative side have been also subdued. Particularly after my last take on Violet lips.

I have started grappling with the situation and have been picking out on blacks lately rather than the obvious choices of summer sorbets. The hint of red, through this versatile knee accessory was the only way I could be a little playful and loose but also sophisticated and urban and project a personal aesthetic statement. With a distinctly gladiatorial feel, this accessory had already met with raves the first I wore it. Its the kind of an easy twist over something less mainstream,served in a different avatar, that just glams the whole look.

I had imagined myself wearing something like this over my thigh high black boots sometime back. I love constructing silhouettes on my own, and accessories like these give you the freedom to show your wardrobe in a much better light.

Lookbook : Peplum | Holograms | Singapore Travel diaries

We took these pictures while in Singapore. There was this lane right outside my hotel(Novotel, Singapore) and every time I passed the porch,  I just couldn't help but notice these Candy colored houses, and decided that I had to include these in at least one of my posts. This edible looking pastel colored buildings are the rear side of the most happening bars and restaurants in Clark Quay. Come past 7 in the evening, and am sure the music is swaying enough to make you wanna enter this lane pronto. I loved the life, the energy of this place, and I always wanted to rush back and just grab a beer, and soak in the culture.
Though we stayed there for 5 nights, and had so much planned and things- to- do stuff, but all was lost and forgotten coz we were pretty busy in  beating the hell outta nightlife, and this is reason enough which would bring me back to this place again.
This is probably the one out of two Peplum tops I own, and if you ask me straight and point, I would advise that  owning more than two peplum pieces is a complete don't hood.Every girl should make the right kind of investment in these faux body shapers, but its also important, to find out the right fit and cut. Figure a curvy , retro Silhouette you are dying to wear for your next date, Peplums could be the best pick rather I would say that it is the best staple to be hanging around your closet.
I loved the Faux Red motifs of flower bush against the  white Canvas and decide to pair them with white pants to keep all the focus on the blouse.... kept it Simple,Straight on top and Even swept my hair in a twisty braid to keep things out of the way.

Peplum Flounce

I Love mid week vacations and getting off strip from our daily busy lives ! The pictures are from my recent trip to Lansdowne, a small coveted hill station in Garhwal ! It is the quietest Hill station of India and is popular since Britishers ruled our country(more on that in the next post) !!! 
So many weekends passed and there was not much on our plate. We were just reliving the days, every day and there was some thrill missing,hence I wanted to break the monotony. In midst of all this some Pixie dust happened and I persuaded Hubs to take off and he agreed !! This getaway was just an extension to my Birthday celebration , and why shouldn't it be ? All good things in life need to be celebrated so that we could keep that stress from nudging its ugly head for a long time !! Know what I mean ? For the first time around, we captured beautiful moments through our eyes and ignored the Instagram icon on my phone (though I managed to still update a bit with the signal bar playing hide n seek.. ) 
Decided to give a new lease of life to my Peplum top as if it was just waiting to show up and begging for its turn. Its been a year that I haven't touched this beautiful crochet one and last first time I wore it was with a pencil skirt !
