4 ways to incorporate Indian wear at work

Thursday 29 December 2016 /

Let's face it we Indian women love our Indian clothes and what better than something which is seamless and comfortable at the same time let us exercise full control of confidence at work space ?
Yes you got it right. Today we are talking about how to choose your work wear outfits . When it comes to dressing for work, Indian women have multiple options coz we can really spruce up our workwear looks by adding variant kurtis and match them up in so many ways that you could be surprised.
Lets see how :

Wearing Long Kurti as dresses : I do this all the time . Gone are the days when we followed a norm of buying a separate bottom along with our Kurtis to complete a set . A long asymmetrical kurta can be worn as a dress these days or you can even cinch them on your waist with a belt to give an illusion of a formal dress.

Layer your Kurtis : Yes this is the season of layering, and when I tell you layer , it also means some amount of protection from the winter chills. You can do this with your short kurti styles .Recently I wore a layered short Kurti over a buttoned shirt dress. It gave an illusion of a versatile garment and nobody could figure out what actually I was wearing.
I saw a few styles on Rangriti , a leading budget brand for women ethnic wear online and picked a few options which I think would be perfect to recreate what I am talking about.

Have a look at this sleeveless short straight kurti top. Simply spice it up with a plain long kurti or long white shirt and immediately transform it into something refreshing and get my look.

Kurti with jeans : If your workplace is flexible and doesn't really have a dress code then bring out your jeans in the forefront and try some Indo fusion wear by pairing your short A-line or Angrakha style kurtis with jeans. The short ones look better with denim anyway, and while doing that they also add width on your top which is really a great way to add a little volume on the top especially for skinny girls. Just make sure your lower half jeans is in a darker shade to balance the rest of the look.
You could try some of these styles from Rangriti which I thought would be great to achieve what I am talking about.

Try Investing in more plain coloured Kurtis - Want to make the right impression at work ? Make sure the prints you choose while buying a kurti are subtle and not too loud .Instead try out some fancy earrings or footwear to divert a slight attention. Accessories are easy to switch than the main garment, coz who knows there is an important board meeting and you don't want your outfit to be the center of attraction .

Rangriti's online store have a dedicated section of Kurtis Online and after browsing for a while I was pretty confident that they cater a whole lot of styles at the same time keeping it very affordable.
From different patterns and styles available on the website you can achieve any look I talked about here and fix yourself a most promising attire to pick for your office.
